Post Nineteen: Can we please just skip the last two years of Bush?

Bush has lost me with his claims of "sexism" re: criticisms of Miers' nomination. My (and most conservatives') criticism of Miers has absolutely nothing to do with her gender. It has everything to do with 1) the fact that there are numerous other more qualified, known-quantity candidates out there; and 2) the fact that this nomination appears to be based on her religious beliefs.

The religious right has proven the downfall of the Republican party. Where do I sign up as a Libertarian?
